Happy Friday!
I know you have probably heard from everyone else that the New Year is for setting goals and new beginnings. Well... I set my goals and always remember My Why when I figure them out.
MY WHY!
When we chose for me to stay at home and I chose to become a tutor, I was doing it to help pay the bills because my daughter struggled with mental health issues and needed support. However, as the years have passed, I still love what I do, but my why is changing a bit.
A few years ago, my husband was hospitalized with a bleeding ulcer. The dr. said we were very close to losing him. He is my WHY, and my daughter also continues to be part of it.
These are my 2024 Goals
- Complete an ebook to help parents 3 Simple Steps for Reading Success (FREEBIE).✔️
- Complete an ebook to introduce Phonics to Parents so that they can recognize some of their child's beginning struggles with reading. Read Between the Lines: A Comprehensive Guide in Recognizing and Responding to Struggling Readers for just $7 ✔️
- YouTube Channel new and improved - getting ready 🎉
- Continue with my Etsy Shop
I already have published numbers 1 & 2 in my new Stan Store, and the best way to find this shop is on my Instagram page. Number 3 has been a work in progress (imposter syndrome), so I made it one of my goals. I need to do it scared & messy!
My Etsy Shop is coming along, and my plan is to create a new item each week. I recently had a mom contact me to ask if I could translate my Kid's Gratitude Journal into Spanish. Thanks to Canva, it is now attached as one of the downloads.
What are your goals? Do you even set goals? What about the word for the year? Mine has been #believe and #achieve for the past few years. I like them so I may keep them. What are your thoughts?
